IN COSMETIC
In cosmetics, tea tree oil has excellent antibacterial, cicatrizing, antifungal, antiseptic and anti-odor properties, making it one of the most miraculous substances that nature can offer us.
Some precautions must be taken when using it, as a few drops are usually enough to enjoy its benefits. It is recommended to always dilute a small amount in your favourite vegetable oil to prevent its powerful action from irritating the skin, especially if it is already sensitive.
Tea tree oil penetrates deeply, balancing sebum production and helping to disinfect hair follicles.
It also eliminates dead skin cells, preventing them from clogging the pores.
GENERAL INFO, HISTORICAL BACKGROUND, FUN FACT
Tea Tree essential oil is obtained from the leaves of Melaleuca, a plant known as the Tea Tree, but which has nothing to do with the tea plant, from whose leaves the well-known drink is made. The curious name 'Tea Tree' was given to it by the Australian discoverer James Cook, who learned to prepare a refreshing infusion with healing and antiseptic properties using the leaves of this tree, imitating local customs. The region of origin is Australia and although there are more than 300 varieties of this plant, the oil is only obtained from one of them, Melaleuca Alternifolia. Its leaves are narrow and soft and light green, while the flowers vary in colour from cream to yellow.
Due to its antiseptic and cicatrizing properties, SKIN IV uses it in the nose mask:
