We talk and hear a lot of talk about Korean beauty masks but perhaps we’ve never lingered long over the only aspect that makes them unique. During application, we turn into stars of the worst horror films with a fabric mask! But it needs to be explained that there are various types of fabric.

Most of the Skin IV masks, for example, consist of completely natural materials derived from cellulose pulp or Agar seaweed (which, in its gelatinous form, becomes the well-known hydrogel to which the different inert materials are added as necessary). Unfortunately, however, not all brands pay the same attention to eco-friendly ingredients so be careful about both your skin and the environment.

The masks in black fabric soaked in serum need to be mentioned separately. The black colour comes from the physical deposition of bamboo charcoal steam on rayon yarn. In this way, the black colour, obtained naturally from the bamboo charcoal, does not leave unsightly residues of colour on the skin.

Lastly, a dual technology is used for the masks for hands and feet. This unites a water-repellent material, used externally, with a specific internal one which withholds liquids. This prevents even one drop of the precious serum it contains from being wasted.

In other words, SKIN IV masks contain all the attention to materials, ingredients, and nature and the anti-waste philosophy is absolute and used all round. All you have to do is try them for yourself to find out the marvellous effects they will have on your skin.
